Determined

 Rather than a complete memoir, this book is a true account of a particular episode of my life's journey in America. It highlights important moments, experiences, and people who have contributed to the making of the man I stand as today. While writing this book, I thought about this young man or woman, this international student, currently excited about their upcoming journey to America. I thought about this immigrant, ready to leave everything behind in the hope of a better future and better opportunities. I hope for my story to be no more than a moral and spiritual boost when hardships befall, and you slowly watch your dream turn into a nightmare. Stay DETERMINED, press on and do not give up not even when you begin to feel like all hope is gone. If anything, else, from my story, remember that it is at the lowest moment of your life, when you feel like you have reached rock bottom, that your growth momentum begins, because the only way left for you at this point, is the way up.
